How to create your account

Creating a FlowTrack account takes about 2 minutes. You can sign up with Google, Apple, or your email address.

Option 1: Sign Up with Google (Recommended)

This is the fastest way to get started.

1. Open FlowTrack — visit flowtrack.money or open the FlowTrack app
2. Tap "Get Started" on the home screen
3. Tap "Continue with Google"
4. Select your Google account from the popup — choose the email you want associated with FlowTrack
5. Grant permissions — FlowTrack will request your name and email address only
6. You are in — your account is created and you will land on the onboarding screen

Option 2: Sign Up with Apple

Available on iOS devices and Safari on Mac.

1. Open FlowTrack and tap "Get Started"
2. Tap "Continue with Apple"
3. Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
4. Choose whether to share or hide your email — if you choose "Hide My Email," Apple will create a private relay address. FlowTrack will still work fine, but you will need to use Apple Sign-In every time you log in.
5. You are in — account created

Option 3: Sign Up with Email and Password

1. Open FlowTrack and tap "Get Started"
2. Tap "Sign up with email"
3. Enter your email address — use an email you check regularly
4. Create a password — minimum 8 characters, must include at least one number and one special character
5. Tap "Create Account"
6. Check your inbox — FlowTrack will send a verification email
7. Tap the verification link in the email to confirm your account
8. Return to FlowTrack — you are now verified and logged in

Verification Email Not Arriving?

If you do not see the verification email within 2 minutes:

1. Check your spam/junk folder — email providers sometimes filter automated emails
2. Check your Promotions tab (Gmail users) — the email may land there
3. Tap "Resend verification email" on the FlowTrack verification screen
4. Make sure you typed your email correctly — go back and re-enter it if needed
5. Try a different email provider — if you use a work email with strict filters, try a personal Gmail or Outlook account instead

If you still cannot receive the email after trying all the above, contact us at support@flowtrack.money and we will help you manually verify your account.

What Happens Next

After creating your account, FlowTrack will walk you through:

1. Setting your preferred currency (INR by default)
2. Choosing your financial year start month (April for most Indian users)
3. Adding your first assets and liabilities

You are now ready to set up your profile and get your first net worth snapshot.
