How to edit or delete entries
Made a typo? Entered the wrong amount? Need to remove a duplicate? FlowTrack makes it easy to fix any entry.
How to Edit an Entry
Assets and Liabilities
- Go to your Dashboard
- Tap on the asset or liability card you want to edit
- Tap "Edit"
- Update the value, name, or any other details
- Tap Save
Income and Expenses
- Go to Dashboard → Cash Flow
- Find the entry in your transaction list
- Tap on it
- Tap "Edit"
- Update the amount, category, date, or notes
- Tap Save
How to Delete an Entry
- Navigate to the entry (same steps as above)
- Tap "Delete"
- Confirm the deletion
Warning
Deleting an entry is permanent. Your net worth and cash flow history will be recalculated to reflect the deletion. If you made an error, consider editing instead of deleting.
Bulk Edits
If you need to update multiple asset values at once (for example, during your monthly update), use the Quick Update feature:
- Go to Dashboard → Quick Update
- You will see all your assets and liabilities with their current values
- Update the values inline
- Tap Save All
This is much faster than editing each entry individually.
